the Loreal Kids Shampoo (Toy Story 3) was in the Mega Event last week…so it probably is again this week…..it was $ 1.50….then there is a .75/1 coupon (sorry i don’t know which insert)….making each .75….seemed like a pretty good deal to me for a full size bottle of kids shampoo

I purchased 10 kraft items (shredded, sliced and cream cheeses), but did not get any catalinas. What did I do wrong? Is this something I can go back in with my receipt and expect to get fixed or should I let it go? Please advise.

      Venesa,

At my Kroger, when the catalinas don’t work, I go directly to customer service. In the past, they have just given me cash for what the catalina should have been. I think if you go back in with your receipt and show them that you should have gotten it, they will make it right. That’s always been my experience with Kroger. I used to let things like that go, but then I realized how much money I was losing. No more! 🙂

Thanks. Since I didn’t know about the catalina until after I got back home, I didn’t know that I was short-changed. I will go back today and see what they say. At this point, I have no way to prove I didn’t get a catalina print out, so I’ll have to understand if they don’t make it right for me.

By the way, how do you know when you should get a catalina or not? Some have been obvious and well-advertised, but others I feel like I don’t know until it happens to someone and then I read about it. Any tips for keep up with these kind of promos?

Venesa – I would just go in and tell them what happened, make sure you purchased the right products and they will probably give you the discount. I find my Kroger’s to have great customer service.

As far as finding the catalina deals, I think they are trial and error. I wish Kroger would market them more, but for some reason you kind of have to just find them. I try to list them here when I see them.

Well, you all were right! I went in showed them my recent and got two $5 credits (I purchased 10 of the kraft items). Thanks to everyone for all of the helpful tips!

I’ve read on many forums that the Philadelphia minis are not working just an FYI. I bought 5 of the Kraft Shredded Cheese and some other Mega Items and got a $5.00 OYNO and it rolled!
