While perusing the great blogs out there I came across a great new meal planning tool for you to use. Below are links to Meal Planning Mommies one and two week, and one month meal planners.

If you plan breakfast, lunch, and dinner for one week at a time the one week planner will work best for you.
Click here for a week-long planner.

If you plan lunch and dinners for two weeks at a time, you would use the two week planner.
Click here for a two week-long planner.

If you are one of the few who are able to tackle a whole month’s meal plan at a time, we salute you, and then we offer you the month-long planner. 🙂

Meal Plan for the week of February 22nd

I got a great deal on quick-dated milk at Aldi on Saturday, so I got a gallon of whole milk for $1.29. That is why I have a few meals that call for heavy cream or half and half – in the first part of the week! I am subbing in the whole milk, since that is what I have and it is a little healthier without a difference in taste!

Sunday:
(Lunch) PB&J, Apples, and TGIF Potato Skins!
(Dinner) Tomato Basil Soup (I omit sugar, saute a sliced white onion in olive oil first, use whole milk instead of cream and use dried basil), grilled cheese

Monday: Bowtie Pasta with Sausage, Tomato & Cream, homemade rolls

Tuesday: Black Bean Tostadas, green salad w/ tomatoes

Wednesday: Pasta e Fagioli Soup (I use canelleni or white northern beans, add 1/2 cup each of diced celery and carrots, and you can use any small pasta, I use ditalinni), homemade rolls or bread

Thursday: Apricot Pork (I put this in a slowcooker with pork loin or shoulder), brown rice, green giant veggie mix (from freezer), homemade rolls

Friday: Homemade Pizza (homemade sauce and breadmaker pizza dough)

Saturday: – I’m gone to a retreat, and will leave them with frozen pizza!

Lunches:

Turkey/Ham Sandwiches, fruit, chips
Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, sliced apples
PB&J, bananas
Leftovers – Pasta, and Soups

Breakfast:

breakfast burrito (egg, cheese, & salsa)
frozen sausage balls, frozen biscuits,
friendship bread, blueberry smoothie
cereal, sliced apples
homemade waffle sticks (freezer), bananas
egg sandwich w/ cheese
oatmeal, whole wheat toast, sliced apples

HILARIOUS! I have too much milk and TWO of our dinners are almost (if not completely) identical. And I’ve never visited your blog before…creepy!!! I love your meal planning links above, too. Nice to “meet” you – seems we’re two peas in a pod! 🙂

I love your website. Thanks for all your hard work and encouragement. Here are a couple of our favorite meals: My Piggly Wiggly (Old Hickory) always beats Aldi and all other sales on meat. I routinely get ground beef for $1.49/lb in a family pack. I fry it all up at once and freeze it in bags by the pound. They also have a great pick 5 sale on pork chops and various cuts of chicken. So we have shake and bake pork chops with roasted sweet potatos (let me know if you want the recipe) and broccoli or froz green peas. I always make extra sweet potatoes. Then we have tacos the next night and I chop the potatoes really fine and include them in the meat mixture. I get taco shells (.99) and seasoning (.33) from Aldi. Talk about a cheap meal! The sweet potatoes are great with the taco seasoning and soooo good for you!
