I’ve done this in the past. It took a lot more time than I anticipated to scan all the things I bought as I put them away, and then you have to remember to upload the scans. I never earned enough points to do anything significant, but maybe someone else has had better luck. Maybe it would have been easier if I had done smaller trips. I eventually got frustrated with how long it took and sent the scanner back.
We’ve done it for a couple of years now, and it’s just a part of the routine. I’ve gotten a Little People Parking Garage and a $500 gift card good at dozens of stores (including amazon)!

I qualified for the homescan one time, but after they sent me the scanner, I just felt overwhelmed by all the time that scanning was going to take, so I just sent it back. I think if I hadn’t had a baby at the time, I might have been able to do it. Good luck to anyone who tries it out!
