    Just wanted to pass along something that I have recently noticed. In the Publix Green Advantage Buy flier, it now says on the Publix coupons “May not be used in conjuction with any other coupon.” So I would assume that you should not combine this coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon, right? (example: combining $2 off Revlon in Advantage buy flier and $1 off in 3/15 SS to get it free)

    The link for the Food Lion Qs ($2 off any $5 produce purchase & $2 off any$5 deli/bakery purchase) did not work for me. It said “This coupon is no longer valid. Please check the Coupons page for more specials. This coupon was sent to customers who receive the Shoppers’ Companion email newsletter.”

    Did anybody else have trouble with this?

    Jennifer, I am not sure why it didn’t work for you, unless you aren’t signed up with your MVP card. I have a Food Lion MVP card and I signed up with it to get the Shopper’s Companion email newsletter.

    Try that and see if it works then for you!

    For a newcomer to your blog, could you please explain the abbreviations: BOGOF, SS, RP? Thanks.

      Nancy,
      BOGOF=Buy One Get One Free
      SS= Smart Source Coupon insert
      RP= Red Plum coupon insert
      There is a “coupon lingo” guide on the right sidebar of my blog under the coupons.com blue rectangle.

      Thanks!

    Kelly thought you and others would be interested to know about a deal at Publix. This week only Publix will give you a free Publix brand equivalent product if you buy the national name brand. So this week Ragu pasta sauce is BOGO and I had .35 coupons for the Rague + the two free Publix brand pasta sauce. For each Ragu you get a free Publix pasta sauce = 4 jars of sauce @ .47 each. Even without the .35 coupons this is a really good deal just with the product match from Publix. Love this store. 🙂
    National products they will match this week are Ragu, Kraft barbeque sauce and Gulden’s spicybrown mustard.

    I found a coupon for $.50 off of Texas Toast croutons in the 4/5 SS. After the coupon was doubled, the croutons only cost $.19!
    I also used the $2.00 off any Revlon Cosmetic or Tool item in Green Advantage buy flier to buy some compact nail clippers which were $1.49. So, I got them for FREE, plus overage of $.51!

    this is not grocery-related, but worth the mention in the spirit of being wise with money…there is a FANTASTIC consignment shop in green hills called DESIGNER FINDS. it is located in the shopping plaza adjacent to the green hills mall where stores such as bella linea and spells dancewear are. it is run by a sweet mother/daughter team and they take and sell consigned items for women AND children. you MUST schedule an appointment to submit items for consignment. my recent “finds” were a cable knit j-crew cardigan for under $20 (in excellent shape), a michael stars t-shirt (like new) for $14 and an etcetera (the home show line) skirt for $42. i’ve also scooped up some amazing children’s clothing (top brands) for a song compared to full retial. not too late to find a fun Easter outfit!
