When do you present this coupons – before your other coupons or after? Does it apply to the pre-coupon total or total after coupons?

  Kim – I present it as my first coupon at checkout. So, pre-coupon total.

I didn’t have the paper or coupon, but my cashier was kind enough to go ahead and take off the $5.00 (even without me asking!) It was the last thing he took off though. I spent $47.00 after coupons.. saved $86.00.
I’ve heard some chatter on other sites about Publix possibly discontinuing the penny item altogether. Man, I hope this is not true!

My Publix did not require the coupon either, but I did have to ask for the $5 off. Mine came off the after coupon total, but I believe she would have taken it off pre-coupon had I asked at that time.
