My Reading List for March & What I Am Reading Now

on February 16, 2015 · 2 Comments

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

My reading stack changes daily. I move things around depending on my mood. Across from my bed I have a HUGE stack of unread books and then on my phone I have a note that has a list of all the different books I want to read. Can anyone else relate?? If I only had more time. If I am completely honest, I would have more time if I turned the tv off more at night, but some nights I just like to veg out.

I love to see what others are reading, so I thought I would share my reading list with you in case you needed some ideas. As I get my reading ideas from others, I would absolutely love to hear about what you are reading right now. Please leave a comment below and share your favorites with me.

Here are the books I just finished or am reading now. Read any of these yet? I’d love to hear what you thought.

The Fringe HoursThe Fringe Hours: Making Time for You – My sweet friend Jessica over at The Mom Creative has written a great book of encouragement to spur you to make time for yourself. Doesn’t every mom need that? I know I do. She gives lots of great tips and ideas on how to grab a few extra minutes each day to do something for your self.

A Long Way HomeA Long Way Home: A Memoir – My friend Abby recommended this and she always has the best book recommendations. I’m in the middle of this one now and it is an amazing story.

Wild Goose ChaseWild Goose Chase: Reclaim the Adventure of Pursuing God – Man this one was good. My favorite part, which I was reading to my husband this morning, was about how a change of geography can change our perspective. I so needed to hear that, especially after sitting in the house with 3 sick kiddos for 2 weeks!

Mended by Angie Smith

Mended: Pieces of a Life Made Whole – Can’t say enough about this devotional-style book by Angie Smith! I have absolutely loved it.

New books on my “To Read” stack this month:

Keep It ShutKeep It Shut: What to Say, How to Say It, and When to Say Nothing at All – I can’t wait to read this new book by my friend Karen Ehman! Anyone have trouble taming their tongue. As a woman, with all my words, this is one book that will be so helpful in so many areas of my life.

Unplanned | Faithful ProvisionsUnplanned – I can’t wait to read this one!

The Waiting ChildThe Waiting Child – Another great recommendation by my friend Abby.

I loved Mended by Angie Smith. I started reading it during a hard season and even though I loved it, I would put it down for days or weeks. Every time I picked it back up, the next chapter was perfect for what I needed at that time. God spoke to me in so many ways with it.
