Amazon Prime
Like many of you, I recently received an email from Amazon stating their Prime service was going up $20 per year to $99. While I still feel that this is a good deal for all I get with the service, being the bargain shopper I am, I wanted to see if there was a way to still get a discount on my Prime service. I was super excited when I came across this article with a clever way to get another year of Amazon Prime at the current price of $79!
To save $20 on your Amazon Prime membership, you’ll need to disable the “auto-renew” feature on your current Prime account. Then, purchase a Gift Membership of Amazon Prime for yourself, but schedule it to be delivered the day your current Amazon Prime membership ends. Final Price: $79. Awesome! *UPDATE: Looks like Amazon just changed the price of a Gift Membership to $99! 🙁

Okay – I’m looking for where to change from auto renew and I don’t see it.
The prime gift membership is $99 not $79:(((((
The Amazon site says gift subscriptions are $99…..
Ditto above – I’m seeing $99 for the gift subscription, oh well – still a good deal I think at $99, was worth a shot though! Maybe Amazon read the article too 😉
