Saving Money with Walgreens Store Brands

I have often talked about the value of meal planning and stocking ahead when it comes to food items. Today I want to talk about another area that is loaded with opportunities for big savings: Medicinal planning and stocking ahead with first-aid items.

Let’s face it: Kids (and adults) are going to get sick. Who wants to have to run to the store for items like fever reducer, antihistamine, or cough syrup? Walgreens’ brand is always less expensive than name brands like Tylenol and Benedryl. But I love that they will often do a BOGOF sale on their brand (a great way to stock up!). Many times there are Instant Value Coupons for the Walgreens brand included in their monthly coupon books. (And you can always use your Walgreens’ Register Rewards for even more savings!)
