You can actually make your own colloidal silver. There are many sites online that tell how to make the machine and also sites that sell machines. It only cost pennies to make your own once you have the machine.
A small amount of really dark chocolate (60% cacao) works as well as cough syrup.
Had no idea you could make your own silver! But, I have to say I like the cough remedy the best, might have to fake a cough today and validate my chocolate craving!
I second the Neti Pot! I bought one about 6 months ago, and I LOVE it! It’s a little weird at first to pour warm water into your nose, but once I felt the results, I was sold. Even if my husband laughed at me pouring water into my nasal passages with a mini-teapot. 🙂

I have had frequent ear infections my whole life. I’ve tried peroxide a lot and I do think that it helps fight the infection, but sometimes the pain would be intense even with the peroxide. And then I read somewhere that a few drops of warm olive oil would help with the pain. Next time I had an earache, I tried it and it worked wonders! That’s what I make sure to have on hand during flu season just in case an earache strikes again.

We take powder vitamin C in Orange Juice on a daily basis. If we feel like we are getting sick we increase the dose. Also increase dose if you have an injury and you will find that you will heal much quicker. Amazing! I have found that Vitacost has the best price for powder vitamin C.
Donna, if you take the olive oil and saute it with a little garlic, it works wonders…garlic is a natural antibiotic, the combo clears up an earache fast.
