Weekly Meal Plan for October 30

on October 30, 2011 · 4 Comments

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’m going to try something a little different and re-introduce the Weekly Meal Plan. Since everyone’s week and schedule is unique, I’m listing some of the things on sale at various grocery stores, and then following that with a selection of recipes from my Recipe Box that coordinate with those sales. Let me know if you like this and if it helps you out with planning your meals this week.

*If you think it’s something your friends could use, please share it on Facebook!

KROGER (Prices good all week)

It’s not too soon to get your turkey, although I suspect the price may go down to $.69 or possibly less the closer we get to Thanksgiving. The Private Selection Whole Turkey, 10-24 lb is priced at $.79/lb. Also this week, Boneless Sirloin Tip Roast ($2.99/lb) and Boneless Pork Loin ($1.99/lb). Stock up  on Del Monte canned tomatoes and vegetables and Campbell’s Great for Cooking soups. See all the Kroger deals HERE.

  • Classic Pot Roast
  • Sweet and Tangy Beef Roast
  • Beef Enchiladas
  • Marinated Pork Tenderloin
  • Pork Fried Rice

PUBLIX (Shop before prices change on Wednesday)

Great deals on Split Chicken Breast ($1.79/lb) and Chicken Leg Quarters ($.99/lb). Stock up on General Mills cereals. See all the Publix deals HERE.

  • White Chicken Chili
  • Chicken Enchiladas
  • Chicken Tetrazzini
  • Chicken Pot Pie Soup
  • Spicy Chicken and Black Bean Bowl

ALDI (Shop before prices change on Wednesday)

Great prices on pineapples, pears, and apples. Stock up on Stonemill Essentials Holiday Baking Spices: Ground Nutmeg, Ground Ginger, Ground Pumpkin Pie Spice or Allspice, 1.1-1.5 oz – $0.99. See all the Aldi deals HERE.

  • Apple Pie
  • Carrot-Apple Muffins
  • Slow Cooker Apple Butter
  • Cream of Butternut Squash and Apple Soup

I always hope that I’m providing you with helpful content. If you found news you could use, please share it with your friends on Facebook. Thanks for telling others about Faithful Provisions!

I would love to see this done for Harris Teeter or Food Lion.
