I absolutely love apple season, and it’s here now! Whether you go to an apple orchard to pick the apples yourself, or you find a great deal at the store (like in the Aldi Deals this week), there are many recipes to make fun, easy, and meaningful gifts really inexpensively. Try these ideas out:
- Crock Pot Apple Butter (so easy because you just put everything in the crock pot and let it go)
- Apple Pie (great dessert to take to a get together or church group)
- Carrot-Apple Muffins (take to a neighbor to say “thanks for being a great neighbor!”)
- Cream of Butternut Squash and Apple Soup (delicious on a cool Fall night)
You can also make cute jars of the Apple Butter Recipe to add to a gift basket with the following other items you’ve made:
If you start planning now, you will find that you can make truly personalized gifts this year on a very limited budget. Check out my posts on How to Save Money for Christmas and find more Homemade Gift Ideas. Make the most of your creativity!
